Short Auto-Lock Pulls for Metal Toothed Zippers.

Most leather jackets USUALLY have a #5 metal zipper in them. But if you have overalls, you might have a #8 metal zipper. Or a Carhart's jacket, you probably have #10 or what we call the "Big Boy" zippers.

You might or might not have a number on the back of the head (the part that opens & closes the zipper). And just because you have a number, it does NOT mean that's the size of the head.

I've put these 3 sizes together because IF you have a metal zipper in a jacket or work clothes, it's probably a 5 or an 8 or a 10.

It's always worth a try to just replace the zipper head before trying to replace a whole zipper in a leather jacket.

Just realize that these heads MIGHT NOT WORK on your metal zipper. But one of these will probably fit on 80% of the zippers out there.

After you replace the zipper head on your jacket zipper, put a new top stop on at the top to keep the head from popping off the top.
