Leader Zips for Quilters
For years I used safety pins to pin my quilts on to the leaders on my Gammill. THEN I started zipping the quilts on & off! What a time difference!
Zippers should be as long as your leaders or a bit more. Zippers are easily shorted by sewing grosgrain ribbon over the TOP ends of the zipper (don't cut off the box & pin!) but not necessary.
I like the #5 molded tooth but a #10 will work fine too.
