Double Short Square Pull on a Auto-Lock Zipper Head
BLACK Pull for my #10 Molded Tooth Zipper Tape.
Metal construction with UV protected paint for marine & outdoor applications.
Pull is approximately 1-1/4" long on BOTH sides of the zipper head.
If you are replacing a double pull, you will find an AUTO-LOCK head on yardage or separating zippers that need to stop & not open. Having a pull on either side of the zipper makes opening the zipper accessible from both the inside & outside of the zipper. I have seen this zipper head mostly used on boats so you can zip on a side curtain & it will not unzip.
ALL of my #10 molded separating marine zippers have this type of zipper head on them.
Zipper heads are easily replaced on SEPARATING or JACKET zippers (they have a box & pin so the zipper will completely separate the sides from each other). There are videos above but all you do is pull the head down to the box, pull the pin for the other side out or separate the zipper, then pull the broken pull to the top of the zipper teeth, take the top stop off, pull off the old head & put the new one on. Slide it all the way down to the box, insert the other side's pin & see if it will close...... if so, replace the top stop & you are done.
