Top Stops are sized to fit your zipper.

These top stops are sized for #3 coil zipper tape.

So if you are replacing a zipper head or shortening a separating or open end #3 coil zipper, this little piece replaces the plastic top stop to keep the zipper slider from popping off the top of your zipper.

I normally match the color of the top stop to the box & pin at the bottom or what will be the least obvious.
