28" Coil #4.5 Separating Zipper
Easily shortened to the size you need.
1-way separating or open ended zipper.
A #4.5 is a little smaller (4.5mm vs. 5mm) coil zipper that I use for kidlette items. Flexible for little sweaters, but big enough that they are easily closed by adult hands.
The tab or pull is small & locking, so that it can blend in to your garment when worn. Or if you want a larger pull, you can change out the pull when you shorten the zipper. Go to 4.5 YARDAGE for additional pulls.
Coil is the type of zipper.
When the zipper is open, it looks like a slinky sewn to the tape.
There are toothed zippers, either molded plastic or metal, and coil zippers.
Coil zippers are actually stronger than toothed zippers.
