#5 Nylon coil, polyester tape zipper: inherently UV protected

Easily shortened from the TOP using TOP STOPS.

This gauge of zipper, #5 or 5mm, is the same size used in your jacket. Separates at the bottom with a BOX & PIN. Pull is big enough for ease of use.

These are a few zippers left from a manufacturer who made outdoor gear. This zipper was used in a rain fly over a backpack.

Zippers don't have to be "water proof", consider their area on a garment. And in Colorado, we don't get that much rain anyway. We haven't had much moisture since August. So my zippers are inherently UV protected because we are 6,000' or higher, above sea level which causes even zippers to fry in the sun.
