Most jackets have a #5 zipper in them. These have metal teeth but you can also have MOLDED TEETH or COIL.

I have started replacing #5 zippers with either #7 coil or #8 molded tooth or metal. Why? Because they are a bit stronger but more importantly, the pull is bigger & easier for my fingers.

No 2 jackets are the same so get a longer zipper & shorten to fit your jacket (not the other way around).
