#5 coil is tricky..... depending on the manufacturer, it might be a #5 or my #7 coil.

The head or slider or zipper car, what ever you call it, fits very specific sizes.

#5 is 5mm across but depending on the manufacturer, the nylon fishing line that they use for the coil might be different diameters & as it is sewn onto the tape, it might be sewn higher or closer together. And we haven't started talking about the UV coating on the tape......

Hence, you need a different size of head.

This double long pull is for my basic #5 coil zipper tape.

If you are trying to replace a head or slider on your tent, get yourself a selection of sizes: #5 coil, #7 coil, & maybe a #8. Those are the standard coil sizes used in light weight tents.

The double pull allows you to open the tent zipper from inside or out.

Approximately 1" long with a 1/4" hole at the end.
