#3 Coil 1-way Separating Zipper with REVERSE Pull.

This is an ALMOST invisible zipper or a REVERSE zipper. Some manufacturers actually call this an INVISIBLE zipper, but that is incorrect. Other manufacturers call these invisible identical, which is closer....

Having the zipper head on the back side of the tape gives you a clean, smooth look LIKE an INVISIBLE zipper but much stronger.

I have numerous bridal customers that are using either 1 or 2 of these zippers to detach a train or tail of a wedding gown to make dancing easier.

Separating means the zipper comes completely apart at the bottom with a metal box & pin.

If you are thinking about kidlette bedding or tents, I would go with a #5 coil (5mm vs 3mm) or #5 MOLDED separating zipper which will hold up better with massive amounts of use by little fingers.

When you sew in this zipper, stitch the seam allowance to the tape CLOSE to the teeth, then press the fabric over the zipper to match the other side. Use your blind hemmer to give it a hand picked look. In my videos, I call this the Almost Invisible Technique. Easy to do. Strong.
